​Dr. Vivek Bindal is a distinguished Director & Head of the Max Institute of Minimal Access, Bariatric & Robotic Surgery at Max Super Speciality Hospitals in Vaishali, Patparganj, and Noida, Delhi, with over 21+ years of experience in Laparoscopic/Minimal Access Surgery, Bariatric Surgery/Metabolic Surgery, and Robotic Surgery. He completed his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, followed by a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FNB-MAS) from the National Board of Examinations, India. Dr. Bindal further honed his expertise with an advanced Fellowship in Robotic GI & Bariatric Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago and served as a faculty member at Duke University, USA. He has been instrumental in establishing the Indian Chapter of the Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (CRSA) and has trained over 250 surgeons globally. His accolades include the International Scholar Award by the American College of Surgeons, the Golden Globe Video Award by the Association of Surgeons of India, and the Times Healthcare Achiever Award.
